The Little Bros/Friends of the Elderly is a national, non-profit, volunteer-based organization committed to relieving isolation and loneliness among the elderly. The Little Bros/Friends of the Elderly services provides a visiting volunteer program, holiday & social activities program, an on-call program for special assistance, telephone reassurance calls, yearly vacation programs, birthday programs and a 3rd Thursday program in which the elderly in nursing homes are brought into the office for lunch and programs.
Neediest Kids of All provides basic necessities for needy children; hats, coats, shoes, clothing, glasses, educational opportunities, field trips and camp training programs. Funds are available through area schools and the Head Start Program. Neediest Kids of All serves the Cincinnati area; 750 schools in 17 counties.
People Working Cooperatively, Inc serves 14 counties in Southwestern Ohio and Northern Kentucky. They provide emergency and critical home repairs, and professional weatherization services for qualified low-income homeowners and renters. People Working Cooperatively, Inc also offers volunteer provided home maintenance for qualified clients who are elderly and/or disabled; and an Electric Partnership Program, which provides free education and energy efficient items for clients on the PIPP plan in Ohio.
The Pregnancy Care of Cincinnati offers a full range of services including free and confidential pregnancy testing and options education, ongoing support throughout pregnancy experience, parenting classes, childbirth classes, abstinence support, abstinence education presentations in schools and local groups, post-abortion counseling, and bible studies.
